QX Global News Network| Investigative Report
There’s a question floating around Harris County right now — one that keeps coming up the more people start comparing timelines, behavior, and motives.
Did Derrick Johnson send a group of known agitators after his own wife, Judge Damiane “Diane” Curvey?
Because if he didn’t, someone still needs to explain the pattern that’s unfolding in plain sight.
This isn’t gossip. Publicly available court filings show that Judge Curvey once told authorities her husband threatened to destroy her career. That statement exists on record. And when a man who has a protective order for domestic violence is accused of saying something like that, people are right to take it seriously.
Now fast-forward to the present.
The Sudden “Anti-Curvey” Movement
Out of nowhere, a handful of questionable characters have taken a sudden interest in trying to bring down a sitting judge — and they all seem to be orbiting the same circle.
Kyle French:
A man more than $30,000 behind on child support somehow found the time — and the cash — to start privately approaching people, offering money if they would run against Judge Curvey. French has no political footprint, no stability, and no natural reason to care about a judicial race.
So what is he doing?
More importantly… who sent him?
Kevin Frymier:
Another man with documented protective orders tied to domestic-violence issues suddenly joins the effort. He’s pushing the same narratives, tagging along with the same people, and repeating the same talking points.
And then you have —
Candice Matthews:
Someone who used to be close to Judge Curvey. Now, she’s aligned with French and Frymier as if they’ve been a team for years. Complaints, social-media attacks, whisper campaigns — she’s right there helping fuel it.
Nothing about this group looks organic.
Nothing about this looks like genuine concern for the community.
This Looks Like Retaliation — Coordinated, Calculated, and Personal
One woman, a sitting judge, caught in a storm created by people she once knew.
Three men — all with histories that involve violence toward women — suddenly stepping into a political battle that has nothing to do with them.
And behind it all, a husband who once told his wife he planned to ruin her career.
When you line up the pieces, the picture that forms is hard to ignore.
This “fraud squad” didn’t just materialize out of the blue. Someone put them in motion.
Someone who benefits from tearing Judge Curvey down.
Someone she previously warned authorities about.
Why It Matters
This goes beyond one judge and one courthouse. When personal grudges, political influence, and men with violent track records collide, the public deserves to know who’s behind it… and why.
QX Global News Network will continue to investigate and follow every lead.
Stay tuned. This story is nowhere near finished.
